This wrapped canvas print in 3 parts was photographed by Erik's Ranch & Retreats' photographer member Brian Conroy. Each section measures 11" x 14".

This stunning photo is of what is billed the most "photographed barn in America". The T. A. Moulton Barn is a historic barn within the Mormon Row Historic District in Teton County, Wyoming, United States.

Brian has captured the image in such a way that it feels you could step right into the scene. Absolutely stunning!

Live edge, handcrafted 12.5"x5" yellow locust bowl. Perfect for a family fruit bowl on counter or table. Harvested from locust tree in Hudson Wisconsin, finished with a food safe penetrating oil, and then buffed to sheen. Locust is a very hard, dense wood, that turns and finishes well, with soft grain patterns and color variations.

Does something this beautiful need a purpose other than to just be?

To clean, simply wipe out with a damp cloth and let air dry. Never immerse in water, place in a dishwasher, or use to reheat items in a microwave.

About the artisan: I think my interest in wood turning originates with my grandfather Andor. He immigrated from Norway as a young man in 1920, with the equivalent of an 8th grade education and little English-speaking skills. Due to the difficult economic conditions in Norway, he left his island home on the arctic circle, where he worked as a subsistence fisherman, to create a new future for himself in the U.S. - the land of opportunity. He believed in the American dream. I was fortunate to visit his homestead in Norway just a few years ago. That visit certainly gave me a better appreciation for what his life was like as a young man. Through hard work, perseverance and self-sacrifice, he started and operated a successful family-run cabinet business for many years. He also occasionally turned items on a lathe. Though I never worked in his cabinet shop, I always had an interest in woodworking and shop classes. Perhaps it is a genetic preference for me! I find turning enjoyable to see what lies hidden inside the log - all one needs to do is remove the excess wood where it's not needed. God does his best work sometimes on the inside of things!
